I studied other energy healing methods for over 14 years including becoming a Reiki Master, NLP, ZenSight Energy Healing and using ZPointProcess techniques in addition to EFT.
EFT is a fast and easy way to handle emotional issues, and frequently physical problems, too. Sometimes it may take a little persistence to clear an issue, particularly if it is long standing and deeply embedded. EFT usually gets better results when working with specific events, time-limited to a few minutes or an hour or so.
